Born and raised in the picturesque landscapes of Anchorage, Alaska, Justin Bente discovered his passion for the art of hairdressing from an early age. Embracing the beauty of diversity and individuality, he found his footing in a curly salon, where he honed his skills. During this time, he developed a deep understanding of working with diverse hair types.
Exploring the world of SFX (Special Effects) artistry for television shows led Justin to Portland, Oregon. However, he soon realized that his heart truly belonged in the world of hairdressing. Determined to make a difference in the lives of his clients, Justin made a choice that would set the course for his career.
As an educator at a local beauty school, Justin shared his knowledge and passion for hairstyling with aspiring professionals, leaving a lasting impact on those he mentored. After a few fulfilling years of teaching, he decided to return to his first love – being behind the chair. Justin is known for creating stunning hairstyles that bring out the best in everyone.
While Justin adores spending time perfecting his craft, his life beyond the chair allows him to cherish moments of tranquility by a connection with nature. Accompanied by his loyal and giant Anatolian shepherd, Ginger, he embraces the outdoors, finding solace and inspiration amidst nature’s wonders. But Justin’s interests are as diverse as his clientele. As an anime enthusiast, he immerses himself in captivating, animated worlds, exploring a wide range of genres, and a follower of many adventure shows.
